Originally one of her coach trainers at RCS in 2003, I was impressed by Rachel’s quick grasp of
coaching skills and techniques as well as her enthusiasm and determination to make it as a coach.
She showed great courage and self-belief when she decided to give up employed work and build up
her own business as a coach which is now thriving. I admire her warmth and infectious enthusiasm
coupled with a down-to-earth pragmatism that encourages her clients to move forward and reach
their goals.
Rachel has many talents and her broad range of expertise covers everything from one-to-one
coaching, group coaching, writing to running a variety of motivational workshops and last but not
least to making a substantial contribution to building a fabulous network of like-minded coaches
through her organisation of events such as Coach Connection and CoachFest.
Rachel is genuine, open, transparent, bold, and forward thinking: all elements one looks for in a
coach AND in a friend, colleague, advisor.
Rachel is a fun and enthusiastic person to work with. She is efficient and effective with an organised
and systematic approach. Rachel is very knowledgeable with great attention to detail and has a bright
and warm personality, with a fabulous sense of humour.
Rachel is truly a delight to work with! She is very intuitive and fabulous at facilitating groups. Her
openness and knowledge of the field of neuroscience allows Rachel to guide students using the
best-practices to bring out the best in others, even under stressful situations. Rachel was my
assistant trainer this last year while I undertook the Post Graduate Certificate in NeuroLeadership.
She led our discussions and served as a resource to guide my new learning and, more importantly,
helped me navigate school and work using her coaching skills and friendly, professional manner. I
highly recommend Rachel to anyone looking to work with a fire-cracker of a leader! She has the
unique traits of being very knowledgeable about leadership/coaching content AND the ability to really
connect with the people she works with. A truly powerful package.
The most impressive thing about Rachel is her ability to handle cross cultural diversity. Rachel had to
deal with people from seven continents, often, at the same time. She has a true open mind and is
culturally sensitive: she proactively reaches out to people and willing helps them. Cultural diversity
management skills and great helping attitudes make Rachel a wonderful professional, and they are
core competencies of today’s leaders.
Rachel was a great facilitator, cheerful and calm, dedicated and passionate – all adjectives generally
hard to convey in a global virtual course! Her presence during the training made a great difference to
all students.
Rachel was Assistant Trainer on the Post Graduate Certificate in NeuroLeadership through Middlesex
University, completed this year. She added a dimension that enabled me to feel confident, inspired
and supported. She is insightful, generous, approachable and of the highest integrity.
I’d like to acknowledge Rachel Bamber as Assistant Trainer to the Professor in the Neuroscience of
Leadership programme. The programme was very demanding and at times complex in dealing with
ever changing schedules, time zones, programme deliverables, and three platform changes. As
members of the pilot group, we benefited from Rachel’s ability to provide clear concise instruction,
skillful facilitation, engaging dialogue, warm welcomes and professional interactions each week.
Rachel communicated with enthusiasm to keep us moving forward as she was organised and always
showed her passion to support us and the program with authenticity. Rachel is as genuine a coach,
trainer and friend as you’ll find. I highly recommend her without hesitation to anyone seeking her
services.
Rachel is a person with a tremendous amount of positive energy and the ability to engage the
participants in the discussions to share their views. She was always willing to help and she was very
open to listening to different points of view and to consider them. It was very enjoyable working with
her.
In my Neuroleadership studies, Rachel was a guiding star – through her expressed kindness and love
and her expert knowledge of neuroscience and brain-based coaching. And she is a heart-driven smart
coach, always working for the best interests for the best performance in others. I recommend her highly!
Rachel is a warm, enthusiastic and sharp trainer. The guidance and support that I received from her
helped me to become a more conscious and courageous coach and human being. Rachel is a source of
inspiration and I’m grateful for her presence in my life.
Rachel is a great trainer and helps you really understand how to do the job. She is incisive and
generous and yet doesn’t allow you to cut corners!
I have hired Rachel several times as a trainer and coach. She is extremely attentive, empathetic and
rigorous as a trainer and a coach, ensuring you are developing professionally at a pace that’s right for
you, and she is not afraid to stretch you to exceed targets. A very rewarding and beneficial business
relationship. And she’s fun to work with! Warmly recommended.
Rachel is a great trainer that combines deep knowledge with creativity delivering top class tuitions.
Using a coaching based approach in all of her classes she manages to facilitate your learning rather than simply teaching the topic.
Rachel is an inspiring trainer. Her knowledge of neuroscience adds a rich dimension to her work
enabling us to re-think old things in new ways! She is a very enthusiastic and contagiously optimistic personality.
I would like to acknowledge Rachel for her rare and significant Talent in the Coaching and Talent
Management field. I learned to know Rachel as a top notch professional with a warm, enthusiastic,
caring and inspirational way to instruct, facilitate and engage me and my fellow students in becoming
great coaches. In addition to this very human and supportive approach in her role as instructor,
facilitator, trainer and assessor, Rachel was challenging us to become better, learn more and aim
higher throughout the whole learning process.
Her approach was to both provide profound support, but at the same time stretch you to reach your
full potential, which makes Rachel one of the best trainers, facilitators and assessors I have ever had
the opportunity to work with during my 20 + years working in the Learning and Development &
Talent Management field.
Rachel’s training skills in life, business, executive and team coaching are strengthened by her
intuitive abilities and her sensitivity. She has contributed significantly to my development.
Rachel is an energetic and inspiring trainer. Her approach is focused and structured, yet light and
detached. I warmly recommend Rachel as a trainer in brain-based coaching.
Rachel is a vibrant and energetic coach who helps clients and colleagues to make breakthroughs in
their thinking by asking very powerful questions. She drives for excellence and is constantly studying
and improving her skills. It was a pleasure to be trained by Rachel and I definitely recommend her
as a coach.
Rachel sets a great example as a trainer: she is flexible and adapts to participants’ needs. Rachel
consistently provided us with clear direction and loads of encouragement and support whilst at the
same time stretching and challenging us.
Rachel is an extraordinarily talented trainer of coaches as well as a truly masterful coach. She is a
warm, open and honest person with a huge energy and appetite for life. She displays great precision,
knowledge and understanding as a coach and delivers amazing results for her clients.
I have seldom experienced as much energy, focus and courage in any other person, as there is
in Rachel. This together with her deep knowledge of how to use your brain at its best, and her
supportive, yet challenging style, makes her a great Mentor, excellent Lead Trainer and a
truly precious Coach Assessor.
Rachel is an inspirational individual. Rachel’s energy, drive and commitment to her chosen
profession is evident in the way that she truly gives 110%+ to everything that she does. What I loved
about having Rachel as a Trainer, and most importantly as an example to follow as a coach, was the
fact that she is so authentically herself. Rachel’s generosity in connecting with others and sharing her
knowledge and experience is a gift that I continue to benefit from.
Rachel is a great trainer whose enthusiasm for her work is evident. She puts complex ideas across in
a way that makes them easy to understand and can make even the shyest of delegates feel
comfortable. She is very engaging and I look forward to attending more courses with her.
Rachel was an outstanding trainer – organised, helpful and hugely resourceful. She made
what was a challenging learning process at times so much smoother – and her great sense of humour
was an added bonus.
Rachel is a fantastic facilitator. She has great presence and I learned a lot from her professional
practice. She is understanding of mistakes and is patient with learners. I highly recommend her to
anyone interested in coaching, particularly in business. She really is inspirational in coaching.
I can’t stop thinking of the intuitive coaching course that you held in Dubai, April 2012. It was by far
the best coaching training I have had.
I recommend Rachel for her exceptional professionalism and warm words of encouragement. I was
impressed by her capacity to (teach me to) coach a client with purpose and respect.
Rachel is close to her students which is a model I want to follow. Rachel taught me, just by
being herself, to be “natural” and “relevant” in my acknowledgments of my coachees’ progress. Her
warmth and authentic support added a caring, female touch to the course that made me feel safe
as a student. It is contagious!
Rachel’s contributions and her engagement have been outstanding. Her understanding of Neuroscience,
her team coaching and training capabilities as well as her personal engagement brought the programme
to another level. I can strongly recommend Rachel as coach and trainer.
